The NBA 2K19 Finals, featuring the top 8 teams from Hong Kong, Taiwain, South Korea, and the Philippines, is going down on March 2, 2019 at the Trinoma Activity Center right here in the Philippines.
The Philippine NBA 2K19 team is being represented by our very own Philippe Alcaraz Herrero IV and Rial Polog Jr., who both won previous NBA 2K tourneys in the past. Philippe won is the NBA 2K18 Asia Tournament Champion, while is the NBA 2K16 champ.
The entire tourney will be played exclusively on the PlayStation 4 and has a total prize pool of $10,000, which we can all agree is a hefty sum of money. MyTEAM mode is going to be used for the first time ever. That mode allows you to build your very own roster. I guess this would make for the most balanced gameplay, but I imagine you'd probably end up with the same players on every single team because the game does have its very own meta.
If you want to be part of this event, you can join the on-site 256 player Play Now NBA 2K19 tourney, with a prize pool of Php50,000. Not a bad chunk of change. If you don't wanna play in the tourney, you could also just check out other 2K sports games that'll be on display at the event.
