Riot Games is going for the jugular HARD. During their live stream for the 10th anniversary of League's release, they dropped some massive news bombs. They revealed a whole masterplan with new game announcements, new projects, and new LoL in-game features.
It's legit crazy to me that none of these have leaked despite the sheer scope of these projects. Let's start with their main b&b, League of Legends. I might not go too deep into some of the announcements because I don't personally play LoL but I'm aware of the impact it's made not only on gaming but in esports and pop culture in general.
League of Legends
- New Champion: Senna. As per the press release, she's a fan favorite who was first introduced as a soul trapped in Thresh's lantern in Lucian's story. She is a support character with a marksman-like playstyle. You'll be able to test her out in the Public Beta Environment on October 30th, 2019. Senna hits live servers on November 10th, 2019.
- Rise of Elements is a series of pre-season gameplay changes built on the Elemental Drakes. It hits live servers on November 20th, 2019.
- Ultra Rapid Fire comes back after four years as a limited-time game mode.
- Daily gifts for 10 days starting October 17, 2019, for all players who made accounts before October 16th, 9 AM (GMT+8). You just have to log in and play.
Teamfight Tactics Mobile
- Teamfight Tactice, Riot's popular autobattler (or as the cool kids call them, autochess) is headed to mobile in Q1 2020. You can pre-register on the Google Play Store right now.
- Second set to launch in TFT for PC will be Rise of the Elements, same as League, I guess. It's content that will feature the elementals. It goes live November 5, 2019 on the LoL client.

Legend of Runeterra
- Legends of Runeterra (LoR - Riot really loves their 3 letter acronyms) is a free-to-play strategy card game set in the world of LoL.
- LoR will feature cards based on the iconic characters of the League of Legends universe.
- LoR offers players multiple options to acquire cards, including both robust free-to-play options and the ability to directly purchase any card with either earned or paid currency.
- LoR will be fully launched in 2020 for PC and mobile and is now open for pre-registration.

League of Legends: Wild Rift
- League of Legends: Wild Rift is a new 5v5 MOBA for mobile and console. It has essentially the same LoL experience and gameplay loop on PC, just adapted to different platforms. BUT it is NOT a port. It was built from the ground up, specifically for those platforms.
- Wild Rift (or I guess LoLWR) will feature a new twin-stick control scheme and a rebuilt Rift design for 15 to 18-minute games.
- LoLWR will officially launch some time in 2020, but the Philippines will be part of the alpha test, which happens on Q1 2020. Pre-registration on the Google Play Store is now ongoing.
Arcane
- Arcane is a League of Legends animated series developed and produced by Riot Games releasing in 2020.
- Set in utopian Piltover and the oppressed underground of Zaun. The story follows the origins of two iconic LoL champions.
Project A
- This one I'm incredibly excited about. Yes, that's a fact.
- It is a stylish, competitive, character-based tactical shooter for PC temporarily codenamed Project A.
- The game is set on a beautiful near-future Earth
- Cast of characters have unique abilities that create tactical opportunities for their gunplay to shine.
- Not set in LoL universe, it seems.
- More information to be revealed in 2020.
Project L
- Project L is a temporary codename for a fighting game set in the LoL Universe.
- The game is in early development, and no additional details are available at this time.
Project F
- Early development project for a game that explores the possibility of friends traversing the world of Runeterra together.
- I'm guessing it's some kind of persistent world game. Maybe an MMO?
Leage of Legends Origins
- Feature-length documentary by Academy Award-nominated documentarian Leslie Iwerks.
- Documentary will explore the rise of League of Legends and its community, cementing it as one of the most dominant forces in esports today.
- League of Legends: Origins is available now on Netflix and many streaming video on demand platforms.
Karma
- Riot Games' corporate social responsibility program is called Karma
- It is Riot Games' Social Impact Fund, a non-profit engine to power continued global social impact.
- Riot’s Karma program has already donated more than $4 million to charities around the world, including many charitable causes selected by LoL players.
- Dawnbringer Karma will be the first LoL skin in which all proceeds will go to the Riot Games Social Impact Fund.
