Okay, to start it off, I just want to say that this is just my third Play Arts Kai figure. I got Devil May Cry 3 figures from the same line the other day and eventually ended up buying this one, too (and hopefully getting other MGS characters). For some of you (like me) who barely know stuff about Square Enix Play Arts, it's a toy line whose figures are around 9 to 11 inches tall or sometimes, even bigger. Most of the time, the figures have 20 to 26 points of articulation, enough to make the figure "poseable" and do some of the character's signature poses or gestures. Another thing that got me hooked to the line is their focus on detail and as well as rendering even the smallest, tiniest ones.

Through the years, the line developed and listened to their fans -- they came up with better figures and focused more on the details.

Anyway, let's now get down with the figure!

Pardon me for barely knowing anything about Raiden, though I was able to play as Raiden back in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and saw him in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. Now, he has his very own game, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. I haven't played the game yet though.

The figure has tons of accessories, 1 set of alternate hands and feet, a holster for 3 throwing knives, alternate head piece, and a holster for his High Frequency Blade and knife. There are also variants of the figure which sport a different colorway. I got mine from Datablitz for P2595.00 (discount inclusive) and fortunately, got the last stock that has no reservation.

I discuss more stuff about the figure in my Youtube Toy Review. Showed some extra stuff in it, too. Make sure to stay tuned since I might review Solidus Snake (Yes, that huge figure!). Don't forget to subscribe for more!
