No wonder it looks damn good, though. The pedigree of the costume designers is something of note. There are four main costume designers. First off, you've got Chester Ocampo, whose works are just BANAYNAY. Seriously, if you want some eye candy, go ahead and drop by his page and you can look at his stuff for hours. And then you have Dennis Crisostomo, inker for Marvel and all-around awesome graphic designer. You can check out his stuff here and here. You also have Greg Lipit, art and prop master extraordinaire. He's got quite a few shows and movies under his belt, including Survivor. And then you have Chris Donio, who has worked on costumes for movies like X-Men: First Class. Those yellow and black costumes in that movie that mirrored the original X-Men costumes? Yeah, that's the guy.
I'm thoroughly impressed by Kidlat's costume, and I think it'd make for a very good comic book look. It'd be cool to see a comic book written about Kidlat published locally. Maybe he'd give some of the Bayan Knights or the Triumph Division a run for their money.
As for how the show turns out, I don't know yet but if you wanna find out, the show airs this Sunday, January 6 on TV at 6:30PM.
