You know what the dream for laptop gamers is? It's to have a laptop that comes close to PC performance. We all knew it was coming with tech getting better, faster, and smaller all the time. We just didn't know when.
That is, until the Nvidia GTX 1080. Enter the Razer Blade Pro - as close to a high end gaming PC you can get in a laptop form factor under an inch thick.
The Razer Blade Pro packs an Intel i7 quad-core processor and an Nvidia GTX 1080, displaying on a 17.3" 4k IGZO screen equipped with G-Sync. On top of that, it's got 32GB of DDR4 RAM, and up to 2TB of PCI M.2 SSD in RAID 0 storage. How insane is that? It is currently the most powerful notebook produced by Razer, all at .88 inches thin, weighing in at 8 pounds.
So with all that power, in such a tiny package, you must be wondering how that handles heat, which is the main problem for gaming laptops. More often than not, what really kills a gaming laptop's performance, it's the thermal throttling. That's what happens when hardware reaches a temperature limit and performance starts dipping to prevent the system from overheating.
Razer claims that their that their thermal management system has got it covered. The Razer Blade Pro is said to have the world's smallest vapor chamber cooling solution in a notebook. The vapor chamber is supposed to dissipate heat evenly and efficiently.
Razer wasn't quite satisfied with just shoving all of the best possible parts into this thing as humanly possible, they even outfitted it with Razer's Ultra-Low Profile Mechanical switches, which feature true actuation and reset points. At presses registering at 65 grams of force, the Razer Blade Pro's keyboard will feel like a full fledged mechanical keyboard. And of course it features Razer Chroma, because it literally has everything.
If you're asking "Can I do VR on this?" Answer is - yes. Yes, you can.

I mean, I guess for a laptop that is technically a portable PC, it isn't super bad. It costs about as much as tuition for one year in any of the top 10 universities in the Philippines. Just maybe stop going to school for a year, maybe?
