Tekken 7 is starting season 2, and with that comes a whole new DLC season pass. The reveal showed us two fan favorites, Lei Wulong and Anna Williams, and one of the guest characters, Negan, from AMC's The Walking Dead. Yup, that announcement came from left field.
Lei's absence was seen as a huge misstep back when the game launched in 2015. People wanted the Jackie Chan-esque fighter back. Harada said the weren't thinking of bringing him back at one point because they said there wasn't enough of an outcry.
Not much

RT@viniaguiar18 Guys! is talking about Lei Wulong! Favorite and retweet his tweet, so his team will know how much Lei is requested!
I guess there was enough outcry because hey, he's back, sporting a new look. He looks nothing like Jackie Chan now. One thing I dig with his design is that each stance has a different Rage Drive. We can see that each one has a different property - one wall carries, another bounds, another just launches straight up - but I also kinda hope each attack has different hit heights, making guarding against them tricky.
Anna Williams being included is great, but weird. She used to be a Nina Williams clone with a few different moves. Hopefully, they've changed her up enough to warrant her inclusion in the game.
Now, Negan being included took everyone by surprise. I wonder if Jeffery Dean Morgan will be lending his likeness to the role. Some people dug it, some didn't. I, for one, think it's awesome. Just because now there really do seem to be no more rules. Noctis, Geese, and Akuma were all video game characters so their inclusions weren't too far fetched. But Negan is a TV character based off a comic book. That opens up a whole flood gate. Think of the possibilities!
There are 3 more characters to be revealed. I'm betting Ganryu is going to be among them, but I'm hoping for more left-field characters like Negan.
